From the 26th to the 28th of March, the Vinnytsia National Agrarian University hosted the second stage of the All-Ukrainian contest of student research papers in the field of “Agronomy”.

34 students from 16 agrarian educational institutions of Ukraine participated in the final of the competition, among them there was a student of TSATU O. Kalinin with his scientific work on the theme: “The production process of peas of the Oplot variety for the action of organic biostimulants” (scientific advisor, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Horticulture, Viticulture and Biochemistry, M. Kolesnikov).

After the arrival of the finalists of the competition, the hospitable hosts had a tour of the Vinnytsia NAU. The next day a representative jury consisting of teachers of the faculty of agronomy and forestry VNAU, deans of agronomic faculties of other institutions. Dean of the Faculty of Agrotechnology and Ecology took part in the work of the jury from the Tavria State Agrotechnological University, Ph.D. I. Ivanova.

The themes presented to the competition for scientific works were relevant and aroused the interest of all those present who appreciated the high level of preparation and presentation of the material of each work. For the participants of the competition, a visit to the famous M. Pirohov museum-estate was organized. Pirohov, a person who was an innovator in medicine, namely, in surgery. Also, the Vinnytsia Regional Local History Museum was visited, where students had a chance to learn more about the history of the Vinnytsia region in more detail. Solemn awarding winners took place on March 28.
