The English language has become one of the most important foreign languages in my life and it is obvious because it is the main language of many international organizations like UNO, NATO, etc., and this language may be found in most of existed programming languages and dialects, which I must know well as I want to be a professional programmer. An opportunity to speak a foreign language helps many talented people to find their own place in life, open themselves to the whole world, choose them exactly what they want out of their lives. Many great scientists like Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, Maria Curie knew English well, but it was not their native language, they were always great authorities for me, as persons and as scientists.
At all, a possibility to speak without any translators is great, it saves much time, becomes one of the most part of our international challenges and scantiest victories. It is not a secret that development of computers and all satellite knowledge was started in the USA first, so there are many computer technology terms in English.
If you wish to connect your life with ICT you must understand that you will not able to write any computer programs without knowing English, even with good translation of all the software development interface, you must always learn more to be a contemporary developer. I found out that first in the 9th form, when I saw the C++ programming language with Microsoft Visual Studio, the most common programming toolkit, only in English. Then I found out that all computer technical literature is written in English, so I decided to learn it well, and was not mistaken. In the 11th form I almost saw the whole field of ICT works and understood the required level of English knowledge.
To be self-confident in speaking a foreign language at all I suggest all people who read this evaluate their knowledge by many ways. You may see some educational videos on such popular website like YouTube. I have found there thousands videos from all over the world by many people who want to share with you some specific knowledge, meanwhile you will be able to hear clear native conversations, monologues, which for sure will increase your opportunity to speak foreign language.
Don’t be scared to receive some additional information, another key words, common terms, once upon a time this way of learning will bring you to good understanding unfamiliar words, sentences, texts and live speaking, finally. As for me, I love some English songs, which I decided to learn. It helps to speak English or another language, and may help you be a happy man. Sometimes the knowledge of foreign songs will be the one of the last things which will help you increase all your knowledge and give you some additional power to learn something new. So if it will be clear for you why you must learn foreign language, then your life will change for better, because you will evolve in many ways, and as your desire will grow, you will learn everything new faster.
