On April 12, 2018, at Tavriysky State Agrotechnological University (Melitopol), the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference of Master’s Students and Students on the Results of Research in 2017 took place. The event was organized by Tavria State Agrotechnological University with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. During the conference, about two hundred presentations by students and master’s students on various topics were considered. Associate Professor Taranenko G.G. participated in the conference with a presentation co-prepared with student O. Bovkun on the topic: “Comparative Analysis of the American and Ukrainian Educational Systems.”

On April 20-21, 2018, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation dedicated to the 95th anniversary ofBohdanKhmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University took place. Associate Professor Taranenko G.G., along with graduate student O. Kulida, presented a report on the topic: “Discursive Component of Professional Self-Development of the Future Specialist in the Conditions of Sociocultural Space Variability.”

On October 26-27, 2018, the II All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Education and Science in the Context of Global Transformations” took place in Dnipro. Professor Morar M.V. participated with a report on the role and place of political science in the system of social-humanitarian disciplines.

On November 22, 2018, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference of Master’s and Bachelor’s students was held at Tavria State Agrotechnological University, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Zaporizhzhia region. The section focused on social-humanitarian sciences.

On July 20-21, 2018, in Slovova Volya, under the auspices of the Higher School of Economics, the 8th International Multidisciplinary Scientific Conference “Key Issues of Education and Science: Development Perspectives for Ukraine and Poland” took place. Researchers from the Social and Humanitarian Sciences Department, including Maximets O.M., Isakova O.I., Melnyk O.O., participated with their reports.

On October 5-6, 2018, the 4th Donets Readings “Dmytro Doncov as a Figure Against the Epoch” took place in Melitopol. The conference covered various directions, including the philosophical foundations of D. Doncov’s worldview, issues of Ukrainian national formation in the 19th-21st centuries, and geopolitical perspectives of Ukraine in the scientific dimension according to D. Doncov. Scientific and practical event involved Khystov V.V., Senior Lecturer of the Social and Humanitarian Sciences Department, with a report on “National Idea in the Theory and Practice of Non-formal Organizations in Ukraine during the Restructuring Period.”

On November 2, 2018, a regional scientific and practical conference titled “100 Years of Independence of Poland: Past and Present” took place in Melitopol. The event was held at the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University with the support of the Ukraine-Poland Cultural and Educational Society “Polonia.” The conference featured the participation of Ph.D., senior lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, V.V. Mykhailov, who presented a report titled “Józef Piłsudski: Greatness of National Duty.”

On November 16, 2017, in Kherson, the V International Scientific and Practical Conference “Philosophical Horizons of the Present” took place, dedicated to World Philosophy Day. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kherson State Agrarian University, the Department of Philosophy and Social Humanities, Odessa National Polytechnic University, the Department of Cultural Studies, Art History, and Philosophy of Culture, Zhytomyr State Technological University, and the Institute of Education Studies at Opole University (Poland).

On March 30, 2017, in Melitopol, an International Scientific and Practical Seminar on “Language. Consciousness. Concept” was held, supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University, the Laboratory of Philological Research, Shumen University “Bishop Konstantin Preslavsky” (Bulgaria), and the Higher Linguistic School (Częstochowa, Poland) in the field of economic sciences. Lecturer L.I. Shleina participated in the conference with a presentation.

The presentations of researchers were dedicated to the current issues in the development of science in the modern stage of its evolution. Mykhailov participated in the conference with a presentation on the “Restoration of Historical Memory of Soviet Repressions in the Activities of the ‘Memorial’ Society in Southern Ukraine during the Years of Perestroika.”

On July 20-21, 2018, under the auspices of the Higher School of Economics in Slavova Volya, a Multidisciplinary International Scientific Conference on “Key Issues of Education and Science Development Prospects for Ukraine and Poland” took place. Researchers from the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, including O.M. Maksymets, O.I. Isakova, and O.O. Melnyk, participated with their presentations.

On November 15, 2017, in Kharkiv, the 39th International Conference on “Development of Science in the 21st Century. Part 2” took place. Professor Morar M.V. from the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities participated with a presentation on “Contemporary Political Process in Ukraine and Its Features.”

From December 1 to 2, 2017, in Odessa, the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Social Sciences: Problems and Achievements of Modern Research” was held. Professor Morar M.V. participated in the conference with a presentation on “Political Opposition as an Indicator of a Democratic Society.”

On December 8-9, 2017, in Odessa, the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Political Science, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology: Contours of Interdisciplinary Intersection” took place. Professor Morar M.V. contributed to the conference with a presentation on “Ideology in the Activities of Political Parties.”

Another conference on December 8-9, 2017, in Dnipro, addressed “Current Issues in the Development of Social Sciences in the 21st Century.” Professor Morar M.V. participated with a presentation titled “Political Process in Ukraine: Analytical Perspective.”

On December 8, 2017, in Melitopol, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists was held, commemorating the 95th anniversary of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University. Senior Lecturer Shcherbakova N.V. took part in the conference with a presentation on the “Influence of the Secularization Process on the Formation of the Development of Value Orientations of Modern Youth.”

From March 15 to 19, 2018, the All-Ukrainian Internet Conference on “Current Issues of Humanities and Legal Sciences” took place in Kryvyi Rih. The event was organized by Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky. The conference featured the participation of Senior Lecturer Shcherbakova N.V. from the Department of Social Humanities with a presentation on “The Problem of Transformation of Value Orientations of Contemporary Ukrainian Youth. Socio-Philosophical Aspect.”

On April 20-21, 2018, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation on “Discourse in the Conditions of Socio-Cultural Space Variability” was held in Melitopol, commemorating the 95th anniversary of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University. The event was organized by Bohdan Khmelnytskyi MSPU . Senior Lecturer Shcherbakova N.V. participated in the conference with a presentation on “Philosophical Discourse of Transformation of Value Orientations of Contemporary Youth in Ukraine.”

On May 11-12, 2018, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Development of Modern Society in the Conditions of Global Instability” took place in Odessa. The event was organized by the NGO “Black Sea Center for Society Research Problems.” Professor Morar M.V. from the Department of Social Humanities participated in the conference with a presentation on “Ukrainian National Idea: Problems and Prospects.”

On June 20-21, 2018, the International Multidisciplinary Conference “Key Issues of Education and Sciences Development Prospects for Ukraine and Poland” was held in the Republic of Poland. The event was organized by Chief Editor Dr. Małgorzata Korecka, Rector of Wyższa Szkoła Ekonomiczna w Stalowej Woli. Head of the Department of Social Humanities, Associate Professor Maksimets O.M., participated in the conference with a presentation on “Motivation for Studying Ukrainian Professional Language as One of the Factors in Specialist Training.”

2016-2017:

From March 31 to April 1, 2017, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Pedagogy and Psychology: Current Research Issues in the Modern Stage” took place in Kyiv. The conference featured a presentation by Associate Professor L.V. Yeremenko on “Motivation of Learning and Professional Orientation of Students.”

On May 26-27, 2017, the II All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Social-Humanitarian Sciences and Modern Challenges” occurred in Dnipro. The presentations by academic and pedagogical staff addressed significant scientific problems in political, sociological, legal, historical, philological, pedagogical, psychological, economic sciences, as well as philosophy, public administration, social communications, physical education, and sports. The conference included a presentation by Ph.D., Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences, Mikhaylov V.V., titled “Organizational Crisis of the Communist Party of Ukraine in Kherson Region in the Second Half of the 1980s – 1991.”

On April 7-8, 2017, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Priorities of Social Sciences Development in the 21st Century” with the theme “Current Philosophical Issues of the 21st Century” took place in Odessa. Assistant Professor Isakova O.I. participated in the conference.

On December 8-9, 2017, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Political Science, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology: Contours of Interdisciplinary Intersection” with the theme “Socialization of Personality as a Problem of Social Synergetics” was held in Odessa. Assistant Professor Isakova O.I. attended the conference.

On April 7-8, 2017, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Health Pedagogy” with the theme “Axiology of Youth Health in Modern Philosophy” took place in Chernihiv. Assistant Professor Isakova O.I. participated in the conference.

On December 15-16, 2017, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Place of Social Sciences in the System of Modern Humanities Knowledge in the 21st Century” with the theme “Humanization of the Education System” took place in Kyiv. Assistant Professor Isakova O.I. took part in the conference.

On April 14–15, 2017, the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Pedagogy and Psychology: Directions and Trends of Development in Ukraine and the World” took place in Odesa. The Department of Social Sciences at TSATU was represented by Senior Lecturer, Ph.D. in Psychology L.V. Yeremenko with a report on the “Development of Scientific Concepts on Psychological Assistance.”

On May 5–6, 2017, in Kyiv, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences at TSATU, Ph.D. in Psychology L.V. Yeremenko participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Pedagogy and Psychology: Challenges and Present” with a presentation on “Theoretical Analysis of the Issue of Enhancing Adaptation of Students to Conditions of Higher Education.”

From June 8–9, 2017, in Melitopol, the 7th International Scientific and Practical Conference in memory of I.I. Martinenko, “Energy Supply of Technological Processes,” was held at Tavria State Agrotechnological University. Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences Melnyk O.O. presented a report on “M. Faraday, D. Maxwell, and the History of the Electromagnetic Field Theory.”

On May 5–6, 2017, in Dnipro, under the auspices of the public organization “Legal World,” the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Formation of Civil Society in Ukraine: Normative-Legal Basis” took place. Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences Melnyk O.O. participated with a report on “Issues of Intellectual Property Protection on the INTERNET.”

On April 14–15, 2017, in Dnipro, under the auspices of the scientific association “Open Society,” the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Scientific-Theoretical Aspects of Solving Global Problems of the Present” was held. Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences Melnyk O.O. participated with a report on “Problems of Teaching Historical Disciplines in Agricultural Higher Education Institutions.”

On February 24–25, 2017, in Odesa, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “New and Traditional in Research of Modern Representatives of Philological Sciences” took place. The event was organized by the Board of the NGO “Southern Ukrainian Organization ‘Center for Philological Research.'” Head of the Department of Social Sciences, Associate Professor Maksymets O.M. participated with a report on the “History of Formation of Derivational Structure of Verbal Nouns Naming Production and Technological Processes in the New Ukrainian Language.”
