Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University was founded in 1932.

Since December 2021, the University has been headed by Serhii Kiurchev, Dr.Sci., Professor.

The university’s structure includes the following faculties and institutes:

  • Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology;
  • Faculty of Power Engineering and Computer Technology;
  • Faculty of Economics and Business;
  • Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Environmental Science;
  • Institute of General University Studies;
  • Institute for Advanced Studies.

To promote research activities, TSATU has established four research institutes: the Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization of Southern Ukraine, the Research Institute of Agrotechnology and Ecology, the Research Institute of Socio-Economic Development of Southern Ukraine, and the Research Institute of Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials.

TSATU is a regional university center (RUC) comprising six separate structural units: «Berdyansk College TSATU», «Vasylivka College TSATU», «Melitopol College TSATU», «Nova Kakhovka College TSATU», «Nogaisk College TSATU», and «Orikhiv College TSATU».
