
Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University was founded in 1932.
Since December 2021, the University has been headed by Serhii Kiurchev, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.
The University comprises the following faculties and institutes:
- Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology;
- Faculty of Power Engineering and Computer Technology;
- Faculty of Economics and Business;
- Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Environmental Science;
- Institute of General University Studies;
- Institute for Advanced Studies.
To promote research and innovation, the University has established four research institutes:
- Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization of Southern Ukraine;
- Research Institute of Agrotechnology and Ecology;
- Research Institute of Socio-Economic Development of Southern Ukraine;
- Research Institute of Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials.
The University also serves as a Regional University Center (RUC), incorporating six separate structural subdivisions: «Berdyansk College TSATU», «Vasylivka College TSATU», «Melitopol College TSATU», «Nova Kakhovka College TSATU», «Nogaisk College TSATU», and «Orikhiv College TSATU».
