For significant contributions to the development of national science and education, notable successes in training highly qualified specialists for the agricultural sector, and the introduction of innovative technologies into the teaching and learning process, the staff of Tavria State Agrotechnological University has been honoured with a Certificate of Merit of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ‘For Services Rendered to the Ukrainian People’.

For its significant contribution to the development of agricultural education and science in Ukraine, and the training of highly qualified specialists for the agricultural sector of the economy, the staff of Tavria State Agrotechnological University has been honoured with:

an Honourary Certificate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;

an Honourary Certificate of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.

The current period is a crucial one for the development of independent Ukraine. The agricultural sector is the driving force behind our economy’s growth. Training personnel for the agricultural sector is a responsible and honourable mission for Tavria State Agrotechnological University.

TSATU HAS BEEN AWARDED THE ORDER “FOR MERIT TO THE ZAPORIZHZHIA REGION” (FIRST CLASS)

The staff of Tavria State Agrotechnological University has been awarded “For many years of dedicated work, high professionalism, the training of highly qualified specialists, significant achievements in the implementation of state policy in the agricultural sector, the fields of national science and education, and a substantial contribution to the scientific, technical and cultural development of the Zaporizhzhia Region, and in honour of the 85th anniversary of the university’s foundation”.

THE QUALITY SYSTEM AT TSATU IS CERTIFIED TO INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL STANDARDS

In April 2020, Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University has successfully completed the certification process for its higher education quality assurance system, confirming its compliance with the requirements of the new international quality standard ISO 9001:2015 “Quality management systems – Requirements” and the National Quality Standard DSTU ISO 9001:2018.

AWARDS AT EDUCATIONAL EVENTS

On March 25–27, 2026, the 17th International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions” united leading educational and research institutions in Ukraine in an online format.

Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University, as a regular participant in this prestigious educational forum, proudly showcased its research and educational achievements. Following the exhibition, the university was awarded the “Higher Education of Ukraine” Grand Prix and received a “Career Guidance Tools for Students Choosing Their Future Profession” competition “Golden Medal” in the relevant category.

This year, the exhibition brought together 497 participants and once again confirmed its status as one of the country’s largest educational events, aimed at fostering innovation, exchanging experience, and modernizing the educational sector.

As part of the business programme, representatives of TSATU took an active part in specialist events and presented their own initiatives.

In particular, a workshop entitled ‘Semantic Wiki Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Lifelong Learning: A Case Study of the Digital Transformation of Agricultural Extension’ was held, attended by the university’s researchers alongside their partners. The event addressed issues relating to the digital transformation of the agricultural sector, the development of the agricultural advisory system, and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process; it also featured practical case studies on the use of AI in crop production and gardening.

Particular attention was drawn to the presentation “Innovative Career Guidance Tools: TSATU’s Experience in Shaping Prospective Students” Career Choices”, which highlighted modern approaches to career guidance, the development of career consulting, the integration of face-to-face and distance formats to engage with prospective students, and the introduction of dual-track education

Participation in the exhibition and the prestigious awards received once again confirmed TSATU’s leading position in the field of higher education in Ukraine, its innovative approach and active role in shaping a modern educational environment geared towards the needs of students and the labour market.

On October 29–31, 2025, the 17th International Exhibition “Innovation in Modern Education” took place online, traditionally bringing together the leading educational institutions, research organisations, educational bodies and publishers from Ukraine and abroad.

Scientists from the Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University have been actively participating in the exhibition for many years running. As a result, TSATU was awarded a Golden Medal and the honorary title of “Leader in Educational Innovation – 2025”.

Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University presented its achievements in the category “Scientific and Methodological Support for the Implementation of Scientific and Innovative Educational Projects and Programmes”.

On March 26–28, 2025, the 16th International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions 2025” took place. Despite the occupation of Melitopol and the temporary relocation of TSATU to Zaporizhzhia, Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University once again declared itself in a resounding way.

Among 523 exhibitors, Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University presented its key achievements in educational, scientific, pastoral and international activities, which were recognised with:

• The Grand Prix “Higher Education of Ukraine”.
• A Golden Medal in the thematic competition in the category “Supervision as a Tool for the Professional Development of Educators”.

At the International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2024,” despite the occupation of Melitopol and the temporary relocation of TSATU to Zaporizhzhia, the Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University was recognized with:

• A Golden Medal in the category “Implementation of modern digital technologies, projects, and programs to improve the quality of education and educational activities”.

16th International Exhibition “Innovation in Modern Education 2024”

The authors presented their paper, “The Ukrainian language as a marker of national identity: the national-patriotic movement at TSATU”, for the competition. The project was highly commended in the category “Implementation of innovative technologies for the development of national and civic identity among students”: TSATU was awarded a Golden Medal. For its achievements in educational, scientific, extracurricular and international activities, our university was awarded the honourary title of ‘Leader in Educational Innovation”.
