Our university boasts a glorious 94-year history, wonderful university traditions, and a wealth of achievements. But the institution’s greatest treasure is its successful graduates.

Over the years, MIMSG-TSATA-TSATU has trained over 85,000 specialists for the national economy. They work in various sectors and are an integral part of both the history of TSATU and that of the country.

Our graduates are our pride! Nine of them have been honoured as Heroes.

Mykola Malyuga – Hero of the Soviet Union, who died during the Second World War.

Dmytro Motornyi – Hero of Ukraine, twice Hero of Socialist Labour, the most titled of all graduates; even during his lifetime he was called a leading figure in the agricultural sector. Throughout his life, he maintained close ties with his Alma Mater and was a frequent visitor to the lecture theatres at TSATU. In 2019, TSATU was named after this distinguished graduate.

Heroes of Socialist Labour: Ivan Trubilin, Volodymyr Pogorelov, Andriy Dykun, Oleksandr Kolisnychenko, Yakov Mykhailenko, Mykola Dolzhikov, Volodymyr Voronin.

Among the graduates of MIMSG-TSATA-TSATU are over 90 scientists and educators, Doctors of Science and professors, who, through their persistent and long-standing work, continue to bring honour to their Alma Matter both within Ukraine and far beyond its borders. Among them is Volodymyr Kiurchev, winner of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, corresponding member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, recipient of the Order ‘For Merit’, and rector from 2006 to 2021.

Among our graduates: 

  • 4 recipients of State Prizes in Science and Technology (in Ukraine and other countries).
  • 4 academicians of sectoral state academies.
  • Eight members of parliament from various parliamentary terms.
  • Three deputy ministers.
  • Twenty chairpersons of regional, city and district councils.
  • Five university rectors.
  • Hundreds of heads of agricultural and industrial enterprises.

During the Russian-Ukrainian war, which began in 2014 and escalated on a large scale from 24 February 2022, our graduates stood up to defend their homeland and gave their lives. Among them were: Dmytro Zakrevskyi, Artem Typenko, Dmytro Mikulin, Pavlo Shtanko, Denys Anatskyi, Viktor Mentus and lecturer Oleksii Kozachek.
