Within the framework of the international innovation and education project HEI-TRAIN, funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a working meeting was held between representatives of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University (TSATU) and partners from Riga Nordic University.
The key focus of the meeting was the discussion of the results of the international StudAI start-up competition, organized as part of the HEI-TRAIN project. The participants reviewed the outcomes of the competition, assessed the quality of student start-up ideas, discussed evaluation approaches, and explored opportunities for further support of the most promising projects.
Special attention was given to planning future joint activities. The partners agreed on developing joint academic and analytical publications, expanding student academic mobility, and increasing student engagement in international entrepreneurial and innovation initiatives. The meeting also addressed the integration of start-up competition outcomes into educational courses and training modules related to entrepreneurship, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.
The meeting confirmed the strong commitment of TSATU and Riga Nordic University to strengthening cooperation within the HEI-TRAIN project and contributing to the development of an international higher education innovation ecosystem focused on practical impact, commercialization of ideas, and the training of competitive graduates.
