In April 2024, teachers from the Department of Foreign Languages at Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University embarked on a transformative professional development journey by participating in the international internship “DIGITAL FUTURE: BLENDED LEARNING.” Conducted through the German-Ukrainian Centre for Digital Innovation (DUDIZ) and supported by the DigIn.Net 2 project, this internship aimed to enhance pedagogical skills of educators in a digital and blended learning environment.

The internship program was meticulously designed to cover three comprehensive modules, each targeting essential aspects of blended learning and digital pedagogy through interactive multimedia sessions.

Module 1: Methodological Aspects of Blended Learning (April 8-9, 2024)

Kicking off the internship, the first module focused on the core methodologies behind effective blended learning. Educators delved into international best practices, gaining insights into structuring and delivering blended learning experiences. This module also covered the usage of video conferencing services, a pivotal tool for modern synchronous learning.

Module 2: Digital Technologies of Communication and Cooperation (April 10-12, 2024)

The second module centered on enhancing communication and cooperation through digital technologies. Participants explored a variety of interactive tools and platforms designed to foster engagement and collaboration within the classroom.

Module 3: Digital Tools for Creating Educational Content (April 15-19, 2024)

The third module was dedicated to the creation of educational content using various digital tools. Participants learned to create visually appealing materials, educational videos, and interactive worksheets, and explored tools for quality monitoring and scientific publication preparation.

Module 4: Artificial Intelligence Technologies in the Professional Activity of a Higher Education Institution Teacher (April 22-26, 2024)

The final module introduced the participants to artificial intelligence (AI) technologies applicable to higher education. Educators explored AI tools for writing, translating, data visualization, presentation creation, and AI content detection.

The “DIGITAL FUTURE: BLENDED LEARNING” internship provided an invaluable opportunity for the faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages at Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University. By integrating advanced digital tools and innovative teaching methodologies, the educators are now better equipped to deliver enriched learning experiences. This initiative not only enhances individual professional growth but also significantly contributes to the modernization and improvement of the educational framework within the university and beyond.
