Teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages Iryna Kryvonos, Viktoria Lemeshchenko-Lagoda and Hanna Gladkykh have successfully completed a distance learning course at Sumy State University (Ukraine) and Islamic Azad University (Iran).
The course “GetSet for Successful Career” aims to improve the professional skills of foreign language teachers by deepening and expanding professional knowledge, skills and abilities.
The leading lecturer of the course was Professor Golam-Reza Abashyan, who is an expert in applied, neuro- and psycholinguistics, language testing, academic language and research methods in foreign languages, author and translator of books and textbooks, dissertation research supervisor and reviewer of journals Sage, FLA, GJER and others.
The course covered the following topics:
- Fundamentals of educational research
- Assessment in language education
- Principles of construction of language tests
- Psycholinguistics and foreign language learning
- Professional areas of professional development for teachers in the 21st century
Upon completion of the training, participants who successfully completed an individual task received certificates certifying the completion of the course.
