In 1932, a Higher Education Institution was founded on the basis of the College of Agricultural Industrialization, which today is called Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University. The development of our University has been going on since then.
In 1933, the Department was founded, which was originally called “Material Resistance”, and in 1934 the Department of Machine Parts was established. On the basis of the merger of these departments, the Department of Machine Parts and Material Resistance was created, which was renamed the Department of Machine Parts in 1995.
In 2012, as a result of the reorganization of the educational process, the Department was renamed “Technical Mechanics”.
In July 2019, in order to optimize the organizational structure and improve the quality of the educational process by merging the University’s departments of «Technical Mechanics» and «Information Design Technologies named after Professor V.M. Naidysh», the Department of «Technical Mechanics and Computer Design named after V.Naidysh» (TMCD) was created.
