March 27, 2019, Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas held a conference devoted to summarizing the results of the competition for the protection of student scientific works in the field of “Oil and gas industry”.

Today it is one of the most discussed sectors of the heavy industry and the basis of the world’s fuel and energy balance. That is why the students had an opportunity to present their vision of the problems, ways of their solution and prospects of the oil and gas industry.

56 scholarly works from 32 educational establishments of Ukraine were presented at this competition. Among the participants of the competition are students from such institutions of higher education as Lviv Polytechnic National University, Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, NTU “Dniprovska Polytechnic”, Odessa National Polytechnic University, NTU “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, National Aviation University, and others educational institutions of Ukraine.

Third-year students of the Energy Department of TSATU V. Strukov and O. Ryzhenko submitted to the competition a student’s scientific work on the topic: “Results of experimental studies of biofuel compositions processed by electrophysical methods” (scientific supervisor – associate professor R. Kushlyk)

As a result of the competition V. Strukov and O. Ryzhenko were awarded the second degree diploma for the second place in the All-Ukrainian competition of student’s scientific works.

The Deanery of the Faculty of Energy and the staff of the Department of Electrotechnology and Thermal Processes sincerely congratulate the contestants with the award and wish for further success in the scientific work.
