The ratings are getting appear despite the quarantine. UniRank non-academic rating examines the quality and popularity of universities in the Internet-space based on independent web metrics, collected from authoritative sources (Moz, Majestic, SimilarWeb та Amazon Alexa).
Rating authors note that such an approach may to help students, teachers and scientists assess the general popularity of the university. For three years in a row, TSATU ranked high in uniRank University. This time, we’re in 25th place, second among the agrarians IHE after NUBiP.
The data base systematizes information on educational institutions in 200 States. UniRank ranking (4icu) determines the popularity and attendance of sites of 13,600 universities around the world. This rating has been published since May 2005. Since then, the methodology of the rating has been periodically improved to ensure better results. The current rating is calculated using a special formula based on indicators:
- university website attendance rate
- number of active pages;
- flow metric readings;
- number of unique visitors;
- viewings of pages on the IHE site from mobile devices and PC users.
UniRank University also monitors the popularity of universities in the social network. Among the Ukrainian IHE, TSATU has the following positions:
