On the occasion of the Molochna River Day on 21.0, the monograph “Wild Ungulate Farming” by Dr. Anatoliy Mykhailovych Volokh, Doctor of Biological Sciences and Professor, was published.

Title of the Monograph: Wild Ungulate Farming / A.M. Volokh. – Kherson: Olli-Plus, 2019. – 400 p.

The monograph includes the following sections: the history of wild animal farming, legislation on their farming, biological features of ungulates, enclosures and their arrangement, technology of breeding wild ungulates, utilization of ungulates and their products, and breeding management.

Another collective monograph has been published, including a publication by the lecturers of the department:

“The Contingency of Agrolandscapes According to Ecological-Agrochemical Indices and Perspectives of Selecting Traditional Agricultural Crops in Eastern Podillia, Ukraine” by V. Shcherbina, M. Ganchuk. Published in the 7th edition of “New Stages of Development of Modern Science in Ukraine and EU Countries” edited by authors. Riga, Latvia: “Baltija Publishing,” 2019. 474 p.

On December 10, the Deputy Head of the Scientific Research Department of the Azov Research Institute, lecturer of the Department of Geodesy and Land Management, Oleksandr Antonovskyi, participated in the exhibition of best practices and presentation of the book “10 Years Inspiring Change” under the UN Development Programme (UNDP-GEF) in Kyiv. The program is a corporate program of the Global Environmental Fund (GEF), implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and executed by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

From October 8 to 11, 2019, the X Annual All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Problems of the Phanerozoic Geology of Ukraine” took place at the Geological Faculty of Ivan Franko Lviv National University. The head of the Department of Geoecology and Land Management, Dr. of Geological Sciences, Professor Lyudmila Datsenko, was a part of the organizing committee of the conference.

In October 2019, the educational process was updated with the implementation of new developments by the lecturers of the Department of Geoecology and Land Management for Environmental Protection (OP 101), Geodesy and Land Management (OP 193), and within the framework of the student-centered learning approach of the student academic community.

On November 20, 2019, the Department of Geodesy and Land Management hosted a student conference in which students from TSATU and invited speakers from the Municipal Institution “Center for Extracurricular Education,” VSP “Orekhivsky College of TSATU,” VSP “Nogaysky College of TSATU,” Zhytomyr National Agroecological University, and NGO “Gymnasium-MAN No.1 ‘Tavria'” took part.

From January 22 to 24, 2019, the XI International Internet Conference “Social and Environmental Technologies: Current Problems of Theory and Practice” took place in Melitopol. The conference was attended by Associate Professor N.V. Tarusova, who presented her research on “Ecological-Faunistic Studies of Turun Beetles (Carabidae, Coleoptera) in Melitopol City.”

In 2019, the First International Scientific and Practical Conference took place at Vinnytsia Academy of Continuous Education. Assistant M.M. Hanchuk participated in the conference and presented a report on the “Current State of Humus Content in Soils of Vinnytsia Region.”
