The year 2019 was a busy and eventful event in the life of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University. Let us remember together the main ones.
Since 2019, our university has been named after the apex of the agricultural industry twice by the Hero of Socialist Labor, Hero of Ukraine, Knight of the Order of Yaroslav Mudryi, the academician of the UAAS Dmytro Motornyi. For the university Dmytro Kostiantynovych was not an ordinary person: Member of the Supervisory Board of the University, honorary professor, friend, advisor, infinitely sincere, kind and simple person. None of the important events of the university were complete without his participation.
According to Webometrics-2019 rating, TDATU is among the 50 best universities in Ukraine! Our university is ranked 47th among Ukrainian higher education institutions and improved its previous rating to 51st position (98th place in 2018). The University continues to demonstrate a high level of activity and presence in the Internet space, as well as ensuring the maximum availability of information for all users of the Internet. Webometrics University Ranking is one of the largest scientific institutions in Europe – the National Research Council of Spain and evaluates about 30 thousand higher education institutions in the world.
Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University participated in two international exhibitions: «Modern educational institutions» and «WorldEdu». Among the leading institutions of higher education of Ukraine our university has received a prestigious high award – Grand Prix «Leader of postgraduate education in Ukraine». TSATU also received the prestigious award – gold medal in the nomination «Establishment and implementation of a system for monitoring the quality of education and educational activities in higher education institutions». This is a high assessment of the effectiveness of the educational process of the university in recent years, an effective start of work in the university department of monitoring the quality of educational activities of Scientific and methodological center TSATU. Our university was awarded a diploma of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine «For active participation in the reform of the National System of Education». Our institution of higher education also received «Certificate of quality of scientific publications». This is a high appreciation of scientific achievements and online publications of TSATU in recent years.
The rector of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University, the deputy of the Zaporozhye regional council, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, corresponding member of NAAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Kiurchev awarded the state prize in the field of science and technology for work «Highly efficient complexes of technical means for growing grain and other crops». Over work of «Highly efficient complexes of technical means for growing grain and other crops» many scientists worked: Doctor of Engineering Adamchuk V.V., Candidate of Technical Sciences Nasonov V.A., Antonets S.S., Doctor of Engineering Bulhakov V.V., Doctor of Engineering Kiurchev V.M., Kalapa S.H., Ponomar Yu.V., Havrylenko P.M. It has high practical and scientific value for Ukrainian agriculture.
Student of the 4th year of specialty «Accounting and Audit» TSATU Anastasiia Podopryhora, received a grant to study in Germany. This was made possible by the cooperation of our university with the institution of higher education Anhalt (HochschuleAnhalt) / Germany. The cooperation was initiated by the rector of TSATU, Doctor of Engineering, professor V.M. Kiurchev. Cooperation agreement concluded between TSATU and the Faculty of Agriculture, Ecotrophology and Landscape Development HochschuleAnhalt, involves diverse cooperation in academic and scientific fields.
The winner of the competition 31«Why I choose Agro?» Violetta Indik had a weekend in Berlin. This essay competition was held by Agroportal. Students of Agrarian Universities and Colleges posted on social networks their essays on the chosen specialty. In equal struggle, the student of the Faculty of Agrotechnology and Ecology Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University became the best – Violetta Indik. From such a gift the girl was delighted. During the weekends, Violetta visited the sights of Berlin and got acquainted with the infrastructure of the German capital.
