Participation of TSATU in the city events, organized on the occasion of Flag Day and Independence Day.
On August 21, at 8-30, on Victory Square, there started celebrations dedicated to Flag Day and Independence Day. For a while, the city center was bursting with dozens of state flags.
Representatives of collectives of city enterprises and educational institutions of the city, city administration, employees of executive committee departments took part in the celebrations. The delegation of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University also participated in the festivities.
Congratulations on state holidays were heard from Deputy of Ukraine Serhiy Minko.First Vice Chairman of Zaporozhye Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov and Secretary of the City Council Roman Romanov.
At the celebration there was a ceremony of awarding medals: “For the development of Zaporozhye Territory” and “For service to the state”, certificates of Zaporozhye Regional State Administration, Zaporozhye Regional Council and Melitopol Executive Committee.
Melitopol inhabitants were congratulated with the holidays by Academic Cossack Song and Dance Ensemble ” The Cossacks” Philharmonic of Zaporozhye region.
The celebrations ended with laying flowers to the monument of Taras Shevchenko.
