The 23rd of August in the central square of the village. Lower Serogozy was held the first National Tournament of multiathlon «Targitai», which brings together 7 strongest athletes from 5 regions of Ukraine. The competition was held with the support of the Nizhneserogozsky district administration and the Nizhneserogozsky district council, they became a wonderful gift to all residents of the district for the Day of State Flag and Independence Day of Ukraine.
In the first time during his 16-year sports career Valery Gazayev performed in his motherland, the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University, the president of the Federation of Power Extreme and Mass Wrestling of Ukraine, the master of sports of international class in bogatyrsk all-round events, the captain of the national team of Ukraine U105.
At the beginning of the tournament, Valery Gazayev was awarded the title of «Honorary Citizen of Nizhneserogozsky district».
Having overcome five hard exercises, Valery Gazzaev took the first place at the National Ukrainian Tournament of multiathlon «Targitai».
