The abnormally warm winter has created favorable conditions for the proliferation of murine rodents, which may adversely affect the future harvest. Significant damage to the mouse cause not only the harvest, but also the crops from the time of sowing.
Rodents destroy the plant at the base, damage the leaves and stems, eat the sown seeds, bite the ripe ear. In order to prevent this, rodents must be fought relentlessly, especially in the fields. Agrarians know that the accumulation of murine rodents is a great risk to the crop, and urgent appropriate measures and effective pest control will help to solve this problem.
Students from the Faculty of Mechanical and Technological Engineering joined the rodent fight of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University. Recently the future agricultural engineers (students of 21 АІ and 22 АІ groups) went to the fields of the rodent training and research center of the University. The complex of measures taken by our students will help to avoid pest propagation, thereby saving the future crop.
