On May 20 – June 04, 2020, the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics held the First All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference in memory of V.V. Ovcharov “Current State and Prospects for the Development of Electrical Systems”. The conference was attended by all the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department and applicants for higher education, who are members of the department’s scientific circles.

On May 20-22, 2020, the Vth All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists “ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF MODERN ENERGY” was held at the Kherson National Technical University (Kherson). Under the guidance of the teachers of the Department of EEEM, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Nesterchuk D.M. and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Popova I.O., the reports were prepared by students I.O. On April 10, 2020, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor S.V. Halko took part in the international scientific conference “Traditional and Innovative Approaches to Scientific Research”, which was held in Lutsk. On December 19-20, 2019, an international scientific and technical conference “ENERGY SAVINGS – THE MOST IMPORTANT CONDITION FOR THE INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AIC” was held at the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University. From November 01 to December 02, 2019, the teachers of the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor S.F. Kurashkin and Senior Lecturer O.V. Kovalov underwent an on-the-job training at LLC “MAGNIT” in Melitopol. During the internship, the following issues were resolved: familiarization with the structure and direction of production activities, with production sites and technological equipment of LLC “MAGNIT”, work with modern technical documentation for the design, manufacture and repair of electrical machines and control systems; development, assembly and commissioning of power units of electronic control devices for electric drives, familiarization with modern technology for the manufacture and repair of windings of squirrel-cage induction motors. Upon completion of the work, the trainees received personalized certificates and certificates of internship.
On November 30, 2019, Senior Lecturer O.V. Kovalov and Associate Professor V.S. Popriadukhin took part in the event for the advanced training of scientific and pedagogical workers of higher education institutions “Educational landing. Performance of Educational Master Classes”, which took place in Zaporizhzhia on the basis of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University. The event was organized by the T-Update Training Center in partnership with the TrainingBOX Personal Development Center and Zaporizhzhia State Medical University.
On November 11-22, 2019, the VII ALL-UKRAINIAN SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL CONFERENCE OF STUDENTS AND MAJORS of the Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University was held.
