On May 13 – June 11, 2021, the teachers of the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Dina Nesterchuk and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Maryna Postnikova underwent an on-the-job training at the Individual Entrepreneur « V.V. Kalinishyn» (Melitopol). During the internship, the trainees got acquainted with the structure of the enterprise, with the directions of production activities and material and technical base; with the processes of acceptance of oil power transformers for repair and with the processes of their disassembly; with the processes of repair of oil power transformers: windings and their insulation, magnetic cores, drying of the active part of the transformer; with the processes of assembling power transformers and repairing submersible pumping units with asynchronous electric motors; with the methods of post-repair measurements and tests of oil power transformers and submersible pumping units with asynchronous electric motors. Upon completion of the internship, the trainees received personalized certificates and certificates of internship.
On May 24-28, 2021, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of EEEM Dina Nesterchuk, took part in a series of trainings on the course “Development of Soft Skills for Higher Education Teachers” as part of the work of the Higher School of Pedagogical Excellence of the Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University. The course program included training in soft skills and consisted of two modules: “Public Speaking and Presentation Literacy” and “Modern Methods of Adult Education” (certificate).
On May 25-27, 2021, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Dina Nesterchuk, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Iryna Popova, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Maryna Postnikova took part in the II International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN SCIENCE AND EDUCATION: REALITIES, QUALITY PROBLEMS, INNOVATIONS”, which was held at the Department of Higher Mathematics and Physics.
On May 20-21, 2021, the XXII Meeting of Students-Leaders of Agrarian Education took place at Sumy National Agrarian University. Bohdan Sidelnykov, applicant for higher education of the 41EE group of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Computer Technologies, an excellent student, a Nominal Scholarship Holder of the President of Ukraine, took part in the meeting, in the work of discussion clubs in scientific areas, he presented a presentation report “Technical and energy assessment of the efficiency of grain storage equipment” (academic advisor Maryna Postnikova, Associate Professor of the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics). As a result of the meeting of student leaders of agricultural education, abstracts were published and a certificate was received.
On May 19-21, 2021, the VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists “Actual Problems of Modern Energy” under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of EEEM Iryna Popova was attended by students participating in the research group “Development and Improvement of Resource and Energy Saving Devices in the Agro-Industrial Complex”, abstracts were published in the conference materials.
On May 12, 2021, Senior Lecturer of the Department of EEEM Oleksandr Kovalov took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Ways to solve modern problems and improve technologies of the agricultural sector of Ukraine”, which was held at the Separated Subdivision NULESU «Nizhyn Agrotechnical Institute». The purpose of the conference was to find solutions for the development and implementation of modern equipment and technologies in agricultural production, as well as to disseminate scientific theoretical and practical knowledge among scientists, teachers, students, postgraduates, doctoral students and interested parties. Oleksandr Kovalov presented two reports: “Substantiation of the electric motor control system for a mini-electric tractor drive” and “Analysis of the operating modes of the regulated electric drive of an electric motor unit”.
On April 15-29, 2021, the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics of the Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University hosted the III All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference in memory of V.V. Ovcharov “Current State and Prospects for the Development of Electrical Systems”. On April 5-25, 2021, the Department of Electrotechnology and Thermal Processes of TSATU hosted the II All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Modern Problems of Innovative Development of Electrical Engineering”. In the conference proceedings, the abstracts were published by the Head of the Department of EEEM, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Serhii Kvitka (co-author – master student Anna Zharikova) and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Iryna Popova (co-author – student of 41EE group Serhii Shcherbakov)
On March 22 – April 23, 2021, Associate Professor of the Department of EEEM Iryna Popova underwent an internship at PE «Ascon» in Yakymivka, Zaporizhzhia region (certificate). The internship program was based on an effective model of organizing an industrial internship, which maximized the consideration of objective experience and the formation of new professional competencies. An obligatory structural part of the program was the independent purposeful acquisition and development of new or correction of already acquired professional knowledge and skills.
In March 2021, Senior Lecturer of the department Oleksandr Kovalov took part in training sessions on Adobe Premiere Pro photo and video editing software. The course was conducted as part of the USAID Economic Support to Eastern Ukraine Project. He received a Diploma of successful completion of the basic course in video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
On March 26 – 27, 2021, Iryna Popova, a teacher of the Department of EEEM, took part in the III International Scientific Internet Conference “Education and Science in a Changing World: Problems and Prospects for Development”, which was held at the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University (Dnipro), where she made a presentation “Dual Education – a Way to Improve the Training of Energy Students” (certificate).
On February 26, 2021, the International Scientific Internet Conference “Trends and Prospects for the Development of Science and Education in the Context of Globalization” was held in Pereiaslav on the basis of Hryhorii Skovoroda University. Maksym Ivanov, a student of 41EE group, took part in the conference headed by of Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of EEEM, Iryna Popova (certificate). Based on the results of the conference, the article “Substantiation of the electric power of the induction motor of the milk separator-cleaner” was co-authored in the conference materials (№ 68, 2021).
On February 01 – 12, 2021, Svitlana Dovhopola, a teacher of the Separated Structural Subdivision “Melitopol Professional College of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University”, underwent an internship. The internship took place at the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics, supervised by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Serhii Kurashkin. The internship program included familiarization with the scientific and methodological support of the department, organization and methods of control and independent work of students, as well as laboratory work in the discipline “Electronics and Microcircuitry” using the Electronics Workbench computer program.
On February 12, 2021, at the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Domestic Science at the Turn of the Epoch: Problems and Prospects for Development” under the guidance of Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics Iryna Popova, students Serhii Shcherbakov (41EE group) and Pavlo Makenov (21EE group) made a presentation on “Selection of a drive motor for a pasta press screw”. The conference was held at the Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav.
On January 29, 2021, Associate Professor of the Department of EEEM Iryna Popova made a presentation “New functions of the teacher as a prerequisite for the implementation of independent work” at the International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Trends and Prospects for the Development of Science and Education in the Context of Globalization”, which was held on the basis of Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav (certificate).
On October 26 – November 25, 2020, the professional development of Anatolii Pysarenko, a teacher of electrical engineering disciplines at the Separate Structural Subdivision “Orikhiv Professional College of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University”, took place on the basis of the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics. Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of EEEM Oleksandr Vovk, was appointed as the head of the advanced training of the said teacher.
On November 19, 2020, the III Regional Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Efficient Energy Use: State and Prospects” was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Energy of the Podillia State University in Kamianets-Podilsky. Anna Zharikova, a student of 12MBEE group of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Computer Technologies, took part in the conference under the guidance of the Head of the Department of EEEM, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor S.O. Kvitka with the report “Application of a frequency converter in the control system of the electric drive of a universal milling machine”.
On November 12, 2020, teachers of the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics of the TSATU Iryna Popova, Serhii Kurashkin, Dina Nesterchuk, Maryna Postnikova, Serhii Kvitka and Oleksandr Kovalov took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Scientific and Pedagogical Workers and Researchers “Innovative Technologies in Agricultural Production (Theory and Practice)”, which took place at the Separated Subdivision NULESU «Nizhyn Agrotechnical Institute», Nizhyn (Nizhyn, Chernihiv region), where they made presentations on “Protection device for induction motors” and “Energy saving in the technological process of drying corn cobs”

On November 10-26, 2020, the II All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference in memory of V.V. Ovcharov “Current State and Prospects for the Development of Electrical Systems” was held at the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics of the Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University. On November 02-27, 2020, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Technical Service and Systems in the Agro-Industrial Complex” was held at the Department of Technical Service and Systems in the Agro-Industrial Complex, which resulted in the publication of the proceedings of the International Scientific and Practical Conference and the Scientific Bulletin of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University: an electronic scientific professional publication. On September 30, 2020, the International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Trends and Prospects for the Development of Science and Education in the Context of Globalization” was held on the base of Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav, which was attended by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Iryna Popova and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Serhii Kurashkin, as well as students of 41EE group Serhii Shcherbakov and Maksym Ivanov under the guidance of Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Professor Volodymyr Ovcharov Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics I.O. On September 17-18, 2020, the II International Forum of Young Scientists and Researchers “SCIENCE AND STUDY 2020” was held in Kyiv in the on-line format. Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of EEEM Iryna Popova, took part in the forum. The international forum was organized by the Association for the Promotion of Globalization of Education and Science “SPACETIME”, the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute for Social and Economic Initiatives (Ukraine), and the Scientific and Educational Center “Science Study Service”.
