An indicator such as publication activity is used to assess the effectiveness of teacher work in higher education institutions in addition to other indicators. It takes into consideration author’s publications both in national and foreign journals, in collections of works of conferences at the international and state level, and also in the form of issued monographs. For scientific-pedagogical workers of higher school, especially significant publications in journals registered in international information databases Web of Science and Scopus.
In the third quarter of 2020, the international scientific community of the authoritative science and metrics databases WOS and Scopus presented 22 articles by TSATU researchers.
Monitoring is based on messages received by the scientific library from Scopus and Clarivate Analytics.
For the period 2016-2020 in the international citation database Web of Science were indexed 64 articles by TSATU researchers. The most cited of them is the article “A Mathematical Model of the Plane-Parallel Movement of an Asymmetric Machine-and-Tractor Aggregate” by V. Bulgakov, S. Pascuzzi, V. Nadikto, and others. The average number of citations is – 4.
A large number of articles are actively cited, including those by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor A. M. Volokh, Doctor of Philosophy Sciences, Professor G.I. Oleksenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences V. V. P. Kuvachov.
It is pleasant to note the positive dynamics of growth in the number of TSATU researchers’ publications in the international citation database Scopus.
More often our researchers are published in the “Eastern European Journal of Enterprise Technologies”. Then the materials of the conference “Engineering for Rural Development”, which has been conducted by the Faculty of Engineering of the Latvian Agricultural University for 20 years. “Agronomy Research”, “INMATEH-Agricultural Engineering”, “Acta Technologica Agriculturae” is a edition on engineering and agriculture.
Natural sciences are represented by articles in Vestnik Zoologii, Ukrainian Mathematical Journal, Journal of Chemistry and Technologies, and Ukrainian Journal of Ecology. For their publications, economists choose Economic Annals Xxi, International Journal of Management, Espacios, and others.
The main goal of scientific publications is to familiarize the scientific world with the research results of certain scientists and groups of scientists.
