Student Life is here for you; our most basic task is helping students get the most out of their experiences at the university. With Student Life you can find your own niche on campus; connect with students within or beyond your residence hall, organization, or academic program; get involved in student organizations, leadership opportunities, and campus jobs and internships; and choose the housing and dining and living options that work best for you.
The students’ life goes not only in the classrooms and libraries. Outside – of – studies relationships and spiritual atmosphere forming the values that will determine their future life are important for young people. The university has all the necessary conditions for it.
TSATU students’ club comprises 4 talented amateur groups. Over 100 students are involved in regular rehearsals. Each year over 500 students take part in the events held in the walls of the university. Members of the students’ club are the prize winners of the republican and regional, all-Ukrainian, international competitions and festivals.
Sports play a leading part in the life of the students. For the students of TSATU, out – of – Physical Training classes also mean autumn and spring sporting competitions: sport cups at the faculties as well as the relay-race dedicated to different arrangements. The sports club comprises 15 sections, over 600 students going in for sports there.
Social activities and charity are also important for our students. They organize performances and make present to the children in orphanages.
Campus is part and parcel of students’ life. 5 building of the dormitories make up the students dwelling area, which comprises the sports complex and other special places, thus enabling the students to spend their time in rewarding way. All non-resident students of TSATU are provided with accommodation that makes the campus their “second home”. Everything is available for their comfortable life: the Internet, facilities for recreation, assembly halls for holding cultural events and many others.
There is the TSATU health centre on the territory of the campus where students can relax and improve their health, as well as receive health promotion packages.
In summertime our students willingly rest in sports camps. At the “SALUT” sports camp situated not far from Melitopol, young people are in progress with their trainings.
The students’ life is full of events. Some of them are serious, some of them are not, some are big and some are small, some are sad and some are joyful. Those are practical work, tests, exams and, of course, holidays. meetings, concerts and dance parties.
It’s the Union of students and postgraduates that helps to make students’ lives more eventful and interesting. Besides, it renders financial support for the students of disadvantaged background as well as the orphans, the physically disabled and students’ families.
The administration of the TSATU pays due attention to students’ cultural life either. Amateur artistic work is one of the main focuses of attention to students’ club. Over 100 students are involved in regular rehearsals and studio activities in the club.
The club artistic groups new repertoire was worked out for their performances, which they have presented many times at various festivals, concerts and other cultural events both in and outside Melitopol and region.
High-level performances have always been characteristic of the folk theater, the amateur-song band, the KVN team.
Sports take the leading pert in the students’ life. What makes it more interesting and eventful is the sports club. Some of them are Masters of Sports of Ukraine, International Sportmasters and Sportmasters Candidates.
