Department of EPFP named after Professor F.Y. Yalpachik of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University has one of the best material and technical bases among the departments of Ukraine. It was recognized by more than 15 representatives of HEI participants of the All-Ukrainian Contest in the specialty «EPFP».
Despite this, the task of increasing the quantity and quality of laboratory work in the specialty 133 «Industrial Engineering» is still a priority for the development of the Department. During the last year, the laboratory fund of the Department was replenished by 10 units, including equipment for beer production – a mini-brewery.
Within the framework of cooperation with TSATU, the technologists of the factory helped to produce the first trial volumes of this beverage at the Department of EPFP named after professor F.E.Yalpachik. It is worth mentioning that only natural raw materials were used for the beverage brewing: malt, bitter and fragrant hops and horse fermentation yeast. Samples of the obtained product were transferred to the laboratory of «Dimiors» Ltd., where organoleptic indices were checked and taste characteristics were assessed. Tasting evaluation of the first beer brewed in TSATU showed its high flavor qualities.
