28 on November, a plenary meeting was held on the results All-Ukrainian scientific and technical conference of undergraduates and students organized by Council of Young Scientists and Students of TSATU, where the best research works of students for 2019 of all faculties of the University were heard and presented. The Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs addressed the audience with a welcome address Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University doctor of technical sciences, professor Nadykto V.T.. He emphasized the students’ self-motivation and active involvement of young scientists in the scientific work of the university.
The following student reports were heard:

- “Experimental studies of the influence of ultrasound and microwave electromagnetic waves on the viscosity and density of mixed biofuel”. Reporter: Strukov V.S. 41 ЕЕЕ, Ryzhenko O.I. 41 ЕЕЕ. Head: candidate of technical sciences, docent Kushlyk R.V.
- “Determination of solids content and endopolysaccharides in fungal bodies of fungi”. Reporter: Sokot Oleksandr 31 ХТ. Head: Ph.D. senior lecturer Bandura Iryna Ivanivna
- “Trends in coffee business development in Zaporizhzhya region”. Reporter: Hrebelna H.V., 31 МК. Head: PhD in Economics, docent Kulish T.V.
Students’ research works provoked a lively discussion among the attendees, emphasized the relevance of each work. Some of the questions were of a rather practical nature and concerned the possibility of introducing scientific developments – both in the home environment and in industrial production. At the end of the meeting, all scientific papers were awarded certificates.
It should be noted that according to the results of the student conference an electronic collection of abstracts of the relevant sections is planned, which can be viewed and downloaded on the University’s website in the sections «Scientific publications» and «Council of Young Scientists and Students».
Council of Young Scientists and Students of TSATU thanks to all the students, to scientific supervisors, teachers, university management for active participation in the conference.
I am convinced that young scientists had a good opportunity to present their own developments and get acquainted with the scientific results of their colleagues, and the experience gained in public speaking will certainly help them in the future.
