In this year Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University became the official representative of agrarian HEI in the south of Ukraine, where will be implemented a new master’s program «Agrokebety».

The program was initiated by Alex Lissitsa, a leading expert in the agricultural and food sectors of the economy and president of the association «Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business». He noted that unfortunately, the realities of agricultural education in Ukraine are such that most students are not even going to work in agriculture in the future.  And teachers of agricultural universities provide information in an academic form, that is not very interesting for young people. That is why the idea of creating a fundamentally new approach to training young farmers appeared.

On the 21st of September with the help of the online platform Zoom the leaders, students and teachers of TSATU had an opportunity to communicate with the leaders of the project «Agrokebety». The initiator of «Agrokebety» program Alex Lissitsa was the first who spoke to the participants on online meeting. He noted that the year 2020 was too difficult. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, there were changes in economic and other spheres of life.  Unfortunately, not for the best. The epidemic has also affected the educational process.

The newest master’s program «Agrokebety» in our university is implemented on the basis of the specialty «Agronomy», as it is one of the most popular and in demand professions, which is needed by agrarians at this time.
