Viktoriia Lemeshchenko-Lagoda, PhD, Senior Teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages participated in the project “Solidarity With Ukraine” Seminar that took place in Lublin, Poland from 10/09/2024 to 13/09/2024.
The “Solidarity with Ukraine” seminar is a four-day event bringing together participants from Erasmus+/ESC Programme Countries and Ukraine to address the challenges faced by Ukrainian youth and organizations due to the ongoing war.
The seminar focuses on international youth cooperation, supporting youth workers, and fostering education for peace and reconciliation.
Main activities:
Session on the Realities of youth work in Ukraine
Session on Exchanging practices of cooperation & youth work
Session on the concept of the European Youth Capital
Capacity-building session on how to deal with trauma
Visit to the City Hall of Lublin
Session on European values and how we educate through Erasmus+ and ESC projects
Partnership-building session
Visit to local organizations in Lublin
Development of recommendations for the current programme and the programme after 2027
The Seminar was attended by the participants from Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Ukraine.
The working language of the project was English.
