On October 1-2, students of the Mechanical and Technological Faculty and the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Ecology participated in the online event “Music is Around Us,” prepared by the Senior teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages Iryna Kryvonos and Viktoriia Lemeshchenko-Lagoda.
The event was aimed at deepening students’ understanding of music and fostering a discussion about their personal musical preferences. It began with a series of engaging videos about the history of music, covering various genres and notable milestones in music development.
Following the video session, students shared their own preferences, discussing their favourite genres, artists, and songs. In the end students participated in a quiz, testing their knowledge of music history and theory. The quiz added a fun and competitive element, helping to reinforce the information learned earlier in the event.
Overall, the event successfully combined education and entertainment, engaging students in a meaningful exploration of music and its cultural impact.
