On November 6, 2024, the Department of Foreign Languages organised a lecture on the multidisciplinary topic «Post-war socialisation of the Ukrainian economy: challenges and prospects» for research and teaching staff and students of the Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University.

Anastasiia Simakhova, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Business Analytics and Digital Economics at the National Aviation University, was a guest lecturer.

The lecture highlighted the key challenges, opportunities and prospects faced by the Ukrainian economy in the context of post-war reconstruction, and considered the main directions and levels of development of the social economy that will determine its recovery. Particular attention was paid to the social aspects of economic policy, including ensuring stable employment, supporting veterans, IDPs and socially vulnerable groups, as well as expanding opportunities for youth.

The discussion also highlighted the role of Ukrainian scientists, young researchers and, in particular, the activities of the Young Scientists Council at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, promotion of economic reforms and effective cooperation with international donors.

The lecture was followed by a discussion during which the participants discussed further actions to promote the country’s economic growth.
