In the autumn (2022) the Memorandum of Cooperation between TSATU and STEKOM University was signed and thanks to it and the active work of the Department of International Relations (TSATU) the participation in Indonesian project was made possible.

On March 13 and 14, a 3rd-year student of “Hotel and Restaurant Business” specialty took an active part in the “Cultural exchange – My Country Has an Interesting Beauty!” project which was organized by STEKOM University (Indonesia).

STEKOM University organized a cultural program for students from other universities in other countries for cultural exchange! During the cultural exchange sessions, STEKOM participants and students had the opportunity to communicate with each other, with different people and cultures!

According to the project program, Day 1 (Monday, March 13, 2023) was devoted to the topic: “A must-visit tourist destination when traveling in my country.” Our student prepared a presentation and a report about the marvelous and popular places of Ukraine (Zaporizhzhian Sich (Khortytsia Island); Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (Kyiv), Medzhybizh Fortress (Khmelnytskyi Region), Tunnel of Love (Rivne Region), Askania-Nova (Kherson Region), Lake Synevyr (Zakarpattia region)) adding his impressions, encouraging others to visit our country in peacetime.

On Day 2 (Tuesday, March 14, 2023) the Topic was “Authentic cuisine of my country: a must try!” The presentation and report of our student revealed the flavors of traditional Ukrainian cuisine with recipes and step-by-step photos of cooking dishes (“Golubtsi”, “Deruny”, “Varenyky”, “Borscht”).

Students from STEKOM University, University of Venda (South Africa), University Putra Malaysia (Malaysia), Sebha University (Libya), Oromia State University (Ethiopia), Weru Technical and Vocational College (Kenya), The University of Faisalabad (Pakistan), Best State Technical University (Belarus), Kyvyi Rih State Pedagogical University (Ukraine), Mykolayiv State Agrarian University (Ukraine) and Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University were invited to the speech. The main language was English.

The student of TSATU represented our country worthily at this project, had the opportunity to hear interesting information about other countries of the invited participants.

We offer to join international projects, programs for the purpose of learning a foreign language and world culture, to promote the formation of foreign language competence, the formation of intercultural communication.
