Viktoriia Lemeshchenko-Lagoda, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign languages, participated in the project Blue Hearts (Erasmus +) in Bucharest, Romania from 06/02/2024 to 08/02/2024.

The MAIN GOAL of the ‘Blue hearts’ project is to enable NGOs & Youth Workers to grow leaders among the Displaced People & Youth, who would then lead their own initiatives. In turn, these initiatives would benefit their local communities.

Key OBJECTIVES to achieve this:

1) identify and improve existing strengths of the target groups (Youth Workers, Displaced People, NGOs);

2) provide them with relevant training & OER;

3) foster Displaced People’s active citizenship;

4) boost inclusion & diversity;

5) build a network & capacity.

This comprehensive training program is specifically designed to equip youth workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to engage and support displaced youth within local communities. The course aims to empower participants to understand the unique challenges and needs of displaced youth and to develop strategies for promoting their resilience, integration, and personal development.
