А scientific and pedagogical internship is crucial for foreign language teachers as it bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, facilitates skill development, enables professional networking, fosters a broader understanding of language and literature, keeps teachers updated with current trends, enhances teaching strategies, and contributes to the development of a comprehensive professional portfolio.

Viktoriia Lemeshchenko-Lagoda, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages, has completed the scientific and pedagogical internship “Modern methods of teaching philological disciplines in higher education institutions” at Cuiavian University in Wloclawek, the Republic of Poland during the period from May 29 to July 9, 2023.

The Internship program consisted of such components as

  1. Grows areas in the philological science of Ukraine and the EU countries amidst digitalization.
  2. Inclusive education in the Republic of Poland: a theoretical aspect
  3. Professional foreign-language training of future philologists in the context of international interaction.
  4. Individual academic and research tasks in the system of methodical training of philologists.
  5. Competence-based approach as an essential condition of the integration of Ukrainian education in the universal space.
  6. Advisory work.
  7. Participation in a training workshop and work on scientific and methodological reports.
